Latest: Boat Passport launch · 29 September 2026
Boat Passport is a free service history that stays with the boat. A Verified professional scans a QR sticker at the helm and stamps the work, the date and the engine hours; the owner can’t edit that entry. When the boat is sold, the passport transfers to the buyer with the seller’s details and costs removed.
Also launched: a contractor register for marinas, first ten sites free for a year
Marine Match connects UK boat owners with marine professionals, and keeps each boat’s service history in a Boat Passport that is stamped by the professional who did the work and transfers with the boat when it’s sold. Owners post a job once and receive up to three private quotes, or book a Verified professional directly from their profile or Passport stamp. Verified means we’ve checked their insurance, and for engineering, gas and survey work, their qualifications or experience.
747 marine businesses listed on Marine Match. Verification is opt-in and is shown on each professional’s profile once our checks pass.
