Booking

Can I book a specific engineer?

Yes. Choose “Book directly” on a Verified professional’s profile or on one of their Marine Match Boat Passport stamps. They send one private quote, which you accept and pay for under the same protections as any other job.

Connecting your calendar

Add to iPhone calendar

On your Availability page, copy your private calendar link. On iPhone go to Settings → Calendar → Accounts → Add Account → Other → Add Subscribed Calendar and paste it. Your Marine Match bookings then appear alongside everything else.

Add to Google Calendar

On a computer, open Google Calendar, choose + next to “Other calendars” → From URL, and paste your private calendar link. Google can take a few hours to show new bookings.

Stop double-bookings

Paste your own calendar's private iCal address on the Availability page. We check it every two hours, read only busy times and never offer owners a slot you're already busy in.

For professionals

Getting Verified

Upload your public liability insurance, photo ID and qualifications for each trade you're listed under from your dashboard. Surveyors also need professional indemnity insurance. Our team checks them and your listing shows the Verified badge once they're approved.

Parts & chandleries

Ordering parts through Marine Match

Ask up to three chandleries at once

Send the same parts list to up to three chandleries — nearest to your boat first. Each replies line by line (in stock, on order, or unavailable) with prices and lead times, so you can compare quotes side by side and accept the best total.

Parts suggested from your job

Every job page can suggest the parts the work usually needs, checked against our catalogue of real manufacturer part numbers. Tick what you want and send it straight to chandleries — already linked to the job.

Track readiness on the job

Accepted parts quotes appear on the job page with an "awaiting / ordered / ready / delivered" marker, so owner and engineer both know the kit is there before work starts.

Consumables reminders

Save recurring lists — oil, filters, anodes — and we'll nudge you when they're due, with a one-tap "ask again". No money changes hands through Marine Match for parts: you pay the chandlery directly.

Claiming and verifying your listing

Your business may already appear in our directory with details gathered from public sources. Claiming takes about two minutes and proves to owners that the information comes from you — not from us guessing.

  1. Open your claim link

Use the link in the email we sent you, or find your business in the directory and choose “Is this your business?”. The link is unique to your listing and your email address.

  2. Prove it is your inbox

We send a 6-digit code to your business email. Enter it on the claim page — that is all the verification we need to know the right person is answering.

  3. Check and correct your details

Confirm what owners will see: contact details, opening hours, facilities, berth numbers, maximum LOA, beam and draft. Anything we have wrong, fix it there and then.

  4. Choose whether to add a login

Optional, never required. With a free account you can edit your listing any time and answer berth or parts enquiries in the site. Without one, enquiries still arrive by email and your claim stands.

Claiming is free — no card, no subscription, and we take no commission on moorings or parts. Need a hand? Email hello@marinematch.co.uk and we will walk you through it.

Running your contractor register

How a contractor registers

Contractors register with your marina from their own Marine Match profile. Their insurance and qualifications are already on file, so there is nothing to chase by email.

Site documents, issued automatically

Your site rules, permits and policies are issued to each contractor when they register, and again whenever you publish a new version. Their acknowledgement is recorded against the version they read.

Your private cleared list

Only your office sees who is cleared to work on site, who is waiting on documents and who has a fee due. Contractors are registered with you, never recommended by us.

Fees

You can set an annual contractor access fee, or none. The first ten marinas to join run the register free for a year.

See an example register or email mark@marinematch.co.uk.
