British Marine — Marine Talk, Southampton International Boat Show
The work is out there. The way to find it isn't.

Marine Match has launched publicly with a Sponsor Spotlight feature in Marine Talk, British Marine's industry publication, timed to the Southampton International Boat Show.
The feature carries the line the whole business was built around: the work is out there, the way to find it isn't. UK boat owners spend weeks chasing engineers by phone, forum post and word of mouth, while qualified marine trades sit with gaps in the diary they cannot fill.
What Marine Match does
Owners post the job once — trade, vessel details and timeframe — and receive up to three private quotes from verified marine professionals. Every pro on the platform has their qualifications, insurance and references checked before they can quote.
Why trades are joining
There are no sign-up fees, no monthly fees and no charge for quoting. Marine Match takes 8% of the job value, and the first 200 founding pros pay 5% for their first six months. Payment is held securely until the owner confirms the work is done.
Where we go next
The directory now covers UK marinas, harbours, ports and chandleries alongside verified trades, with a digital log book that records every job completed through the platform against the vessel.
