Work is stamped by the professional who did it, not typed up afterwards. The record follows the boat when she is sold. Free for owners.
How it works
A QR sticker sits at the helm. After a job, a Verified Marine Match professional scans it and stamps what was done, the date and the engine hours. The owner cannot edit that entry.
Owners can add their own entries too. Those are marked as self-reported, and you can upload documents alongside them — surveys, invoices, yard reports.

Stamped by a Verified professional
Stamped by a Verified professional, who confirms they carried out the work.
Checked by a Verified professional
Checked by a Verified professional, who confirms they inspected the work and did not carry it out.
Supported by third-party document
Owner-uploaded invoice or receipt. The details were read by AI and confirmed by the owner. Marine Match doesn't check these documents. Buyers should verify them with the owner or the business that did the work.
Self-reported by owner — unverified
An entry the owner wrote themselves, with nothing else to support it.
When you sell
The passport transfers to the buyer. Your name, your contact details, your notes and what you paid are all removed first.
Never shown publicly
Costs, owner details and the full hull identification number are never shown publicly.

What a scan shows
The professional who did the work can stamp it. Anyone else sees the public passport, if you've made it public. Your name, contact details, costs and notes are never shown.
Sticker packs are printed with your boat's details. You can cancel for a full refund until your order is sent to print (usually the same day). Once printed, we can't cancel, but we'll replace any pack that arrives damaged or wrong.
