Of the job value, charged only when a job is booked and completed through Marine Match. Nothing is owed on quotes, leads or jobs that fall through.
The first 200 approved professionals pay a reduced 5% commission for their first six months on the platform.
Added to the owner’s checkout total on top of your quoted price. It is paid by the boat owner and does not come out of your payout.
No sign-up fee, no monthly fee, no charge for sending quotes. You only ever pay commission on booked, completed work.
Success-based fee
No sign-up, monthly or lead fees. We take 8% of the job value (5% for founding pros, first six months) only when a job is completed and paid. The 3% customer booking fee is paid by the owner — your payout is unchanged.

Owners get seasonal reminders for winterisation and antifoul — your quiet months fill up.
Verified badge
Qualifications, insurance and references checked by our team before Verified Pro status is granted. Approved pros can download the badge for letterheads, invoices, websites and vehicles.
How verification works
Verified Pro status is earned, not bought.
Before any professional appears with the Verified Pro badge, our team checks three things. Nothing goes live until all three pass.
Qualifications
Relevant manufacturer tickets, trade certificates and qualifications for every service category you apply for — uploaded during the form and checked against the issuing body where needed.
Insurance
Valid public liability and professional indemnity insurance certificates, in date for the cover you intend to work under.
References
Two yards or long-standing customers we can call to confirm the standard of your work. These are treated as confidential and never shown on your public profile.
Once approved, Verified Pros can download the official Marine Match badge artwork from the brand kit and use it on letterheads, invoices, your website and vehicles.
